The Steps ...
Step # 1 - KNOW WHERE YOU ARE AND WHERE YOU WANT TO GET TO - We will start off by filling out a Health History form to see where you are today. If we want to get somewhere we must know what our starting point is and what hasn’t worked up until now. Then we can focus on what you want to achieve.

Step # 2 - BUILDING THE FOUNDATIONS 1 - AWARENESS AND SHIFTING THE MINDSET - This step is crucial, the foundation for everything else. You will learn how to stop going to sugar automatically when you feel emotions like stress, anger, sadness etc. 

Step # 3 - BUILDING THE FOUNDATIONS 2 – GROWING FROM PAIN - Life is full of problems and pain. Our problems and pain actually help us grow. The first 34 years of my life were quite difficult. I was born in Israel to a very loving family: a wonderful younger sister, a Belgian father with a great sense of humor and a Canadian mother who made us healthy snacks of cut cucumbers and carrots and is my inspiration to eating in a healthy way. But despite all this, things just always seemed to be hard for me.

As a child I was very shy, clinging to my mother’s skirt, and I had no confidence.
When I left public school, one of the teachers remarked that I wasn’t smart, so in high school, I became obsessed with my marks. I was driven to succeed and spent all my days (and nights) studying. I also went on my first diet.
Though I was always slim, I became obsessed with my weight, strictly controlling what and how much I ate: drinking Diet Coke, chewing sugar-free gum (waking up in the morning with it stuck to my hair), counting calories, constantly dieting and weighing myself, eating low-fat foods and very little in general and exercising. I became very skinny, extremely low in energy and was often constipated.
After graduating from high school, I went swinging to the other extreme, finding fulfillment in eating two sandwiches in a row, white bread with chocolate spread, chocolate bars, and still chewing lots of gum (eventually my jaw started to click from so much chewing).
Looking back I can see that it was as if I was on a pendulum swinging back and forth, from dieting, to having bad sugar cravings, to binge eating and then to dieting again. This cycle went on for years. Going from being very skinny to overweight.
I had serious emotional eating disorders and wasn’t a happy person. Honestly, I really was a mess!
One day, after eating a bit too much sugar and feeling really sick I realized I had to make a big change in my life.
I embarked on the path to slowly heal myself.
Life really changed for me when I went to my first yoga class at the age of 34. I left the class feeling like a grey cloud had lifted from above my head. I felt very light, full of trust in life and happy for no reason whatsoever. Fourteen years have gone by, and the cloud has never come back. Over the years my yoga practice has grown and become an innate part of my life.
Then at the age of 37 I found the courage to close my 12 year old cake business, and though I graduated in film, leave my work in film too. I started studying holistic nutrition in NYC, where I totally connected to my passion: nutrition, healthy eating, healthy sweets and helping women. Those studies totally changed my life and made me who I am today.
My diet gradually changed, and I really got interested in superfoods that sorted out my sugar cravings.
I balanced other aspects in my life which slowly stopped the binge eating.
At the age of 39, I met my wonderful Irish husband, Diarmuid, and we opened “have a superl!fe”, our Irish based superfood company for Superfood Blends. Our vision is to make healthy eating easy while inspiring people to live their superl!fe.
SuperMums is a part of “have a superl!fe” but it focuses on the super mums – the mums of our modern world, who are juggling so much at the expense of their health and happiness. My mission is to help mothers connect back to themselves, overcome their sugar cravings in a healthy and natural way so they can lose the extra weight, keep it off for good and regain their love of their body, control over their food and love of life.
The Overcome Your Sugar Cravings Program is based on everything I learned in the last 15 years and used on myself, my husband and dozens of my clients to beat their sugar cravings.

When I met Talya, I weighed over 100 kg. I was in a pretty desperate state after countless diets and weight loss programs, where I experienced lots of suffering, deprivations and missing foods. Some things worked, but only temporarily. The program with Talya, which included 12 sessions over 6 months, created a gradual makeover in my life. I learned to cook in a simple and healthy way, and I started eating a big salad with lots of green leaves every day.
I found that eating whole grains delayed my hunger, satiating me and mostly lowering my cravings for sweets! I slowly changed my choices of foods, and for the most part, let go of processed sugar and white flour. Today, half a year after I lost 24 kg, without a single moment of hunger and missing foods,
I feel much more energetic and healthy. As well, my cholesterol lowered without medication. Talya is an amazing and pleasant woman, and above all she is very professional. Hi Talya, First of all, I would like to thank you very much for introducing me to Smoothies. It has become a special breakfast routine for all the members in our household, including ages one, six and nine. We never miss a morning. Preparing the shake became a sacred ritual for me, after a short session of yoga (with 3 kids, 10 minutes is what there is in the morning). It always contains ice, bananas, and either mango, pear, figs or peach, nectarine, and apple (more or less). I add a handful of fresh spinach leaves, chia seeds, goji berries, 4-5 dates, and cocoa beans, plus some water, all lovingly blended in a mixer that became the most important appliance in the kitchen. It’s served in colorful glasses - a celebration. My husband calls it the life shake. So thank you. It is so much fun!

I came to Talya, lacking awareness about anything that is a healthy diet. I felt bloated, rarely drank water during the day, ate rich creams and processed foods, snacking all day on mostly sweets, and I felt heavy and fat. After an 8-month program, I opened channels of awareness about what I was doing, with the whole process of nutrition in my home undergoing an incredible change; I started cooking healthy food, using organic vegetables, completely lowering the sweets, the white flour and the white sugar. I started eating a lot of greens (at every opportunity), and drinking about 10 glasses of water a day, I use coconut oil for cooking and light frying and honey as a sweeter and discovered that not only do I enjoy healthy food, but my whole family joins in eating my healthy and delicious food. The program was very helpful and Talya is a wonderful consultant, very intuitive and grounded. She always offered tools to deal with any situation that came up, whether it was a physical, emotional, professional or relationship-related situation. In the beginning of my process with Talya, I set myself 3 main goals that were at the time the height of my dreams.The first was to become pregnant, after trying for a period of almost two exhausting years. During that time I experienced "disappointments" from my body. The second goal was to drop the extra 8 kilos I carried. Therefore, it was the first time in my life that I shed off the extra pounds without being "diet consciousness" in my head. During these months, for the first time in my life, I did not know the concept of "it is forbidden to eat", but rather, I ate with the understanding of the new relationship formed with my body. During the process with Talya, the perception changed to, "I don't want to give this to my dear partner." I dropped the extra pounds easily. As for the other goals, I am engaged in continuous exercise, which for the first time I enjoy and does not appear to me to be a burden. Beyond the pleasure that I derived from participating in Talya’s group program, I feel like I'm living a healthier and happier life. A lot of things have changed for me since the program started. Among other things, I eat a lot more vegetables and green leaves, I stopped drinking a whole bottle of coke even though I was heavily addicted, dropped down to one cup of coffee a day and the most important thing to me was to overcome the urge to eat sweet things in the afternoon. In addition to the nutrition workshop, we also attended yoga classes. The feeling after a yoga class is amazing - the body is stronger, more flexible and happier. This feeling lasts for a few days, and I'm just sorry we didn’t have more frequent yoga lessons.
