How could I teach my daughter about consequences without her thinking she isn’t deserving of love? How could I teach my daughter that she is good enough even when she makes mistakes? How could I teach my daughter both discipline AND self-worth and that she is always worthy of love, no matter what?
I began teaching my children the same self-love tools that I have learned and shared with so many people. As I taught my children these tools, the results were amazing! I saw my children’s confidence grow incredibly. They gained the confidence necessary to tackle the challenges of not only childhood but life in general.
I also began teaching my children to identify their feelings and where their feelings come from. Children often don’t know how to express their feelings, so they act out in impulsive and destructive ways. By helping my children understand their emotions, I saw my children’s behavior improve and their anxiety go down. I saw fewer fights between my children. Teaching my children to understand their emotions not only helped with my frustrations as a parent but with their frustrations as well because children truly want to communicate with us!
That’s when I decided to take my self-love course and package it in a way that is fun and exciting for children while providing them the tools they need to realize their self-worth, gain power over their emotions, and become confident, healthy individuals.
